Use this Sensata | Crydom solid-state relay to safely switch large loads in your circuits. It uses the electrical and optical characteristics of semiconductors to control and isolate the electrical supply, eliminating the need for mechanical contacts. This means that it has no moving parts, so there's minimal risk of wear for long-lasting performance. A low I/O capacitance of 8pF gives you clear, high-integrity output signals. The relay's flame-retardant housing stops burning in 10 seconds for safety in the event of a fire. You'll find this unit used in PIC microcontrollers.
