This 5wp panel is ideal to prevent battery drain in caravans, motor homes and boats. It contains a reverse feed diode to prevent back feed and is supplied with all the necessary cable, connections and detailed instructions.

The ideal choice to prevent battery drain. The 5 watt panel provides a continuous trickle feed maintaining and extending the life of any 12 volt battery. The 5 watt solar panel is fitted with a blocking diode to prevent reverse current drain

Applications

Solar panels provide power through batteries at off-grid and isolated locations and are widely used in critical telecommunications and telemetry applications. They are designed for very low maintenance and longevity.

How Much Power?


The daily power production of a solar panel can be calculated by multiplying the panel’s peak power rating by between 0.5 and 6 depending on the time of year, angle and location. For example; an 80Watt solar panel produces a peak current of 4.55A.

What is the best way to install solar panel systems?


• Installing solar panels at a 55-65° angle increases optimal wintertime performance.
