Join a lifting device to its load simply and easily with this D-shackle from RS PRO. It's a screw pin-type shackle that's secured by fitting the pin and screwing it into position. You can provide additional tightening torque as needed by passing a rod through the hole in the pin and turning it.
A shackle of this size lets you hold ropes with widths of up to 16 mm inside the jaw. For added convenience, the pin can directly attach to an 8 mm hole on the load. It's made from zinc-plated steel for strength and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for outdoor use.
