StarTech.com RK Series with 2 Post Frame, Black 6 U Steel Server Rack , 15.2 cm, 282 mm Height 50.5 cm

This server rack is a Compact wall-mounted enclosure designed to house and organise rack-mount network equipment in constrained spaces. It provides a structured mounting solution for automation, electronics, electrical and mechanical environments where a small, open-frame rack is required for accessible equipment installation and service.

• Two-post frame for simplified front-and-rear access and cable routing
• Steel construction for consistent structural support
• Black finish for discreet integration into technical spaces
• Compliance with EIA/ECA-310-E for standard rack equipment compatibility
• Lightweight 1.3 kg form factor to ease wall-mounting and handling
• Shallow depth optimised for installations with limited clearance

• Suitable for mounting routers, switches and small servers in control cabinets
• Ideal for distributing network kit in factory-floor control rooms
• Used for centralising instrumentation and monitoring hardware in plant rooms
• Can be used for edge computing devices close to machinery on site

It employs a two-post frame that accepts standard rack-mounted devices and allows direct fastening at the front for accessible installation and maintenance.

Its shallow-depth design reduces protrusion from the wall, enabling installation where clearance is limited while keeping equipment reachable.

The rack is formed from steel, offering resistance to routine mechanical stresses encountered in technical environments.

The unit has an overall width of 50.5 cm, allowing integrators to assess lateral space requirements.
