Brainboxes 2 Port PCI RS232, RS422, RS485 Serial Card

The Brainboxes Universal PCI provides one RS232 port and one RS422/485 serial port. It has data transfer rates up to 921,600 baud rates and the 128byte deep transmitand 128 byte receive FIFOS, coupled with 1Mbit/s line drivers deliver uncompromising performance on your PC. Universal PCI is fully compatible with both, 3.3V and 5V PCI slots.

PCI Bus: High performance I/O slot in every desktop Pentium, Pentium (II) and Pentium Pro PC. PCI provides improved performance to all running applications by freeing up the CPU. PCI cards are detected and configured automatically by the PC to avoid conflicts in address and interrupts. PCI cards automatically implement a shared interrupt system so maximising the use of precious system resources. The Windows and DOS device drivers supplied with each serial card from RS reads the PCI assigned setup and configures your system accordingly.
