The STMicroelectronics evaluation kit based on an intelligent IMU with simultaneous low g and high g acceleration detection, is designed to simplify the assessment of the six Axis inertial measurement unit. The kit includes a generic DIL24 adapter board (STEVAL MKIGIBV5), a flat cable, and a square PCB that hosts the IMU. The square PCB ensures accurate measurement when the sensor board is placed within the system. To support convenient integration, the sensor is soldered precisely at the center of the PCB, allowing easy mounting on equipment using double sided adhesives. Alternatively, the board can be secured through the mounting holes located at each corner of the PCB, providing flexibility for different evaluation setups.
