RS PRO Bright Zinc Plated Steel Pan Head Thread Forming Screw, N°6 x 9 mm Long


These thread forming screw from the RS PRO range are best suited for jobs that require the assembly or disassembly of furniture. They’re thread forming screw so they’re a practical solution to fixing two pieces of material together in the event that you only have access to one side.

Each of the screws has a pan head so they’re best used for applications that require high torque for wood and metal where countersinking could be an issue. They can also make their own holes so you’ll only need to start a job with a pilot hole, before drilling these into place.

The 9 mm-long screw is manufactured to UTS (Unified Thread Standard) No. 6, meaning the outer thread diameter is 3.5052 mm. A steel construction with BZP (bright zinc-plated) ensures this hardware has good corrosion resistance.
