RS PRO Nylon Screw Insulator, M4, 4mm

RS PRO introduces a fantastic range of screw insulators. Designed for insulating metric machine screws from moisture and electricity these components can also be used as guides and spacers. This range is made from nylon 66 providing strength and wear resistance whilst also giving impact and fatigue resistance. Machine screw insulators are resistant to most chemicals, dirt and moisture they can also be used to seal in some applications. With a wide selection of sizes in this range, we have insulators that suit M2, M3, M4, M5, M6 and M8 size screws, with inside diameters from 2.1 mm to 8.1 mm and body length from 3 mm to 12 mm covering a variety of application uses.

Machine screw insulators, also known as shoulder washers, are designed to isolate the metal screws and provide insulation from moisture and electricity. Designed from Nylon 66 these machine screw insulators have good electrical insulating properties whilst also supplying corrosion, impact and wear resistance providing a tough and sturdy component.
