Schneider Electric Preventa Range of Safety Relays - XPS Universal Range


The XPSUAB range of safety relay modules are predominantly designed to monitor two-hand control stations, used in applications such as:

• Monitoring emergency stops

• Antivalent contacts

• Guard switches

• Magnetic switches

• Proximity safety switches

• PNP sensors

• RFID safety switches

• Safety light curtains

Safety relays with a clever design that allows the monitoring of dangerous operations, to initiate a dangerous movement both operators must be activated within an interval of 0.5 seconds which is referred to as synchronous activation. If one of the two pushbuttons is released during a dangerous operation, the control sequence is automatically cancelled. Users can resume the dangerous operation through both pushbuttons returning to their initial position and reactivating them within the required time interval.
