SICK MLP1 Safety Interlock Switch, Power Actuator Included, Valox

This safety interlock switch is designed to monitor access points and prevent hazardous machinery operation when guards are open. It uses RFID sensing with a power-to-lock mechanism and provides self-monitoring semiconductor outputs for safety circuits. The unit operates from 24V DC supply and includes an actuator. The sensor and magnet operate from 24V DC with specified tolerance ranges for individual and cascade use.

It supports connection via T-connector without diagnostics or Flexi Loop for diagnostic-capable cascades and uses M12 cabling.

It functions between -20°C and +55°C and withstands vibration and shock ratings per the specified standards.

The device provides self-monitoring OSSD outputs, a response time of 50 MS, release time of 100 MS and a switch-on time of 2.5 s.
