SICK FXL1 Series Safety Controller, 2 Safety Outputs, 24V dc

This safety controller provides monitored locking and actuator diagnostics for industrial guard access. Designed for use with power-to-lock RFID locking devices, it operates from a 24V DC supply and delivers two safety outputs for safe machine shutdowns. The unit is intended for integration into control cabinets or Flexi Loop architectures and is suitable for hygienic or harsh environments due to its high enclosure protection.

At least one safety-related semiconductor output is brought to the OFF state to establish a safe condition.

The enclosure meets IP65, IP67 and IP69K ratings for protection against dust, temporary immersion and high-pressure washdowns.

There is an application diagnostic auxiliary output for actuator monitoring separate from the safety outputs.

Typical current draw is 65mA unlocked and 125mA locked with an 800mA Peak for 200 MS during switching.
