Eaton Handle For Use With P1 Disconnector Switch, Rotary Type - 172840 SVB-P1/M
For a simple safety solution with no twists, choose this rotary handle from Eaton. It's designed for use with P1 disconnector switches. The switch-handle assembly lets you de-energise part of electrical circuits. By moving the dial on this unit through 90°, you can select between the 'on' and 'off' positions. Turning it off shuts down energy quickly, so you can work safely on the equipment. This is especially useful in hazardous situations, where a quick response helps you get a grip on the situation.
• Lockable with up to three padlocks for additional security
• Broad operating temperature range between -25°C and +50°C for use it in challenging conditions
• IP65 rating when fully assembled with a shaft and disconnector switch for protection from dust and water projected from a nozzle
Which extension shaft should I use with this handle?
This handle is designed for P1/P3-M400 extension shafts, which you can use to mount on a 400mm deep cabinet for greater versatility.
Can I use this handle as an emergency stop push button?
Yes, you can. When combined with a P1 disconnector switch, this unit lets you switch off machinery quickly during emergencies.
