If you're building a pneumatic and coupler mechanism, this steel rod end from the reliable RS PRO range offers a zero-maintenance option, as it requires no lubrication.

The ball swivel allows some degree of misalignment between the shafts you're connecting. It has a female M8 x 1.25 connection thread with a bore size of 8 millimetres.
