This means you can use it for mass termination with IDC (insulation-displacement contact) sockets to save time and effort. Each conductor is stranded with seven wires for maximum versatility and fewer breakages. A PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket insulates the wires and provides a protective coating keeping it flexible, efficient and durable.
