RS PRO SPNO Reed Relay, 0.5 A, 12 V DC


This RS PRO reed relay is used to control the electromagnet in a non-armature reed switch. Thanks to its operating time of 0.5 MS (including bounce time), it's fast-acting and well-suited for a variety of setups. The part has good resistance to wear and tear as the design is simple and there's no mechanical movement inside the relay.

The unit is easy to install, as its industry-standard pin configurations are compatible with most circuits. Once fitted, the switch area's seal is airtight to keep dirt and dust out.

This type of reed relay is commonly used with mains Triac trigger devices. It's an eco-friendly option for busy workplaces as it needs a low level of power to operate.
