RS PRO HSS 21 to 23 mm x Straight Shank Reamer Bit


This RS PRO straight shank reamer bit is a tool you can use to enlarge existing holes in a variety of materials. The reamer bit also allows you to smooth the sides of the holes whenever they need additional work, ensuring the hole has the appropriate size and finish to receive a fastener or other component.

The reamer bit is made from high-speed steel (HHS), so you can be sure it's strong and durable and has exceptional heat resistance. It features six hardened steel blades which sit in tapered keyways and expand as you adjust and reposition them along the length of the bit's body. The blades can be securely fixed in the required position using screwed end caps.

The blade material has a Hardness Rockwell C rating of HRC 62-66 to ensure excellent performance and durability. You can see adjustable reamer bits like this one used in a wide range of applications where you need to finish existing holes to the exact size with a high degree of precision.
