APDS-9960 Digital RGB, Ambient light, Proximity and Gesture Sensor


The APDS-9960 digital sensor from Avago Technologies has a range of features including proximity detection, advanced Gesture detec¬tion, Colour Sense (RGBC) and Digital Ambient Light Sense (ALS). The ambient light and RGB colour sensing is highly sensitive and can be used behind dark glass. The gesture detection is ideal for mobile devices where gesture detecting is required. Applications include mobile phone touch screen, mechanical switch replacement and ambient light/ RGB colour and proximity sensing.
