StarTech.com Touch Screen Compatible 15.6 in Privacy Screen

This privacy screen is a 15.6in filter designed to restrict side viewing of a 16:10 laptop display while preserving direct visibility and touch operation. It combines anti-glare and blue-light reduction properties to improve on-screen comfort in shared or open-plan environments. The unit mounts to raised-bezel displays using supplied adhesive strips, slide-mounting tabs or flip-up tabs and can be lifted quickly to share content without removal.

• Micro-louvre privacy technology limits side viewing angle
• 60% light transmittance maintains readable brightness
• Blocks up to 51% blue light to reduce eye strain
• Ultrathin plastic construction preserves touch responsiveness
• Flip-up mounting allows immediate screen sharing

• Suitable for open-plan office workstations
• Used with laptops in finance and banking settings
• Ideal for healthcare and government data protection
• Can be used on hot desks and education stations
• Used to protect displays from scratches and fingerprints

The package includes adhesive strips, slide-mounting tabs and two flip-up tabs to suit displays with raised bezels and allow the filter to be lifted without removal.

The design does not obstruct top-mounted webcams, sensors, and permits closing the LID without detaching the filter.

It is manufactured from plastic with an ultrathin profile to retain touchscreen sensitivity and minimise added thickness.

The filter delivers a 60-degree clear viewing window, defined as +/-30 degrees from the viewing centre.

The box contains mounting hardware, a lifting tab, a plastic sleeve, a wiping cloth and a quick-start guide.
