StarTech.com 13.3 in Privacy Screen

This privacy screen is a removable monitor accessory designed for 13.3in MacBook Pro M1 and M2 displays to prevent side viewing of sensitive content. It combines an anti-glare filter and blue-light reduction to improve Visual comfort during extended use while remaining compatible with top-mounted webcams and LID closure. Installation uses transparent adhesive strips with a flip-over orientation for quick sharing.

• 57.5% Light transmittance improves on-screen readability
• Blocks up to 51% of blue light to reduce eye strain
• Micro-louvre technology darkens side views to protect data
• Reversible matte/gloss finish offers glare control or colour vibrancy
• Adhesive flip-over attachment enables quick content sharing

• Suitable for open-plan office and hot-desk environments
• Used with finance and banking workstations handling confidential data
• Ideal for healthcare and government laptop deployments
• Can be used for education settings with shared devices

The filter is cut to fit precisely so it does not obstruct top-mounted webcams, sensors, or when closing the lid.

The Protector is manufactured from plastic with a fingerprint- and scratch-resistant coating on the matte side.

The package contains the privacy filter, flip-over tabs, a lifting tab, an adhesive-strip kit, a wiping cloth and a quick-start guide.

The shield preserves a clear central view within approximately 60 degrees total viewing angle (+/-30 degrees from centre).
