The ABB fault monitoring unit is used to detect and manage up to 100 fault messages which are processed within the unit and can be forwarded to a display unit. Furthermore, an optical and an acoustic collective status signal is provided. Messages can be acknowledged and data losses can be reported. The devices support message formats to DIN 19 235: messages with continuous lighting, new value messages with simple flashing light, initial value messages with simple acknowledgement, motor messages.
