The header is tall and fully shrouded so as to prevent the resin used to coat the PCB coming into contact with the mating pins. Designed for use specifically with resin coated ("potted") PC boards. The header is designed to accept VH mating receptacles. The housing has a lock mechanism which prevents the connector from coming loose due to vibration. The mechanism also prevents misinsertion.
