RS PRO 3-Phase DOL Starter, 415 V, 3.7 kW
You can use this DOL (direct-on-line) starter from RS PRO as a safe, reliable way to initialise a motor in your equipment. It allows you to connect the power supply directly to the motor's coil, providing 100% of its starting torque immediately.
The starter is manually operated, making it easy for you to activate your systems when necessary. The starter is also fitted with a thermal overload, to prevent overheating in case of a current surge after a short circuit, limiting any potential damage to your equipment.
This product has a strong, durable steel enclosure to house its circuitry, which has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP55. This means it has excellent protection against dust and water spray, ensuring a long lifespan and improving the safety of your environment. The starter is ideal for smaller motors in conveyor belts, fans and water pumps. Engineers have rigorously tested this part for quality and safety.
