To protect your motor and equipment during startup, use this RS PRO star-delta starter. It's a simple and reliable solution that allows you to start your motor in three phases, with a lower inrush current to prevent damage. The initial phase involves a star connection to an induction motor. When it reaches 80% of its load speed, it transfers to a delta connection.

The starter is housed in a moulded plastic enclosure, which makes it durable and resistant to impacts. The unit has an IP65 rating, so it's protected against small particles, dust and low-pressure water spray.

This product can be operated up to 30 times in an hour, making it particularly suitable for applications where the motor requires frequent stopping and starting. A starter like this one is often used in engineering equipment, pumps and conveyors.
