Operating motors is a piece of cake with this DOL starter from Schneider Electric. It's built as a complete enclosure, so you can mount it directly onto a flat surface. As this comes with an IP55 rating, your starter is protected from dust and water without needing to sit in a cabinet. On the front there's a stop and a start button, giving you a simple way to control motors. A red mushroom-head button linked to an internal circuit breaker provides you with a ready-made emergency stop function. This is lockable with a twist to keep machines off. Use it to safely run three-phase squirrel-cage motors in conveyors, fans and lathes.

This starter has a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker with a thermal setting range between 13 and 18A to help protect motors against over-currents and short circuits.

These motor starters are available in a selection of formats. All have removable steel base plates for rigidity when mounting to an uneven surface and ease of earthing and wiring and an impact resistant polycarbonate front cover which is adaptable to enable the fitting of other components without drilling.
