Schneider Electric LUC Series DOL Starter, 1.4A Current, 0.25kW Power Rating - LUCA1XBL


This DOL starter is a Compact three-phase motor starter designed for direct-on-line motor control and protection in industrial installations. It provides thermal-magnetic protection, phase-failure sensitivity and manual reset capability for low-power motors up to 0.25 kW at 400 to 440 V, operating on a 24V DC control supply. The unit is intended for use with compatible plug-in power bases and reversing contactor breakers in automated control systems.

The control Coil is rated for 24V DC with an operational range of 20 to 27V and a dropout threshold near 14.5 V.

How quickly does the starter respond electrically during switching?


Operating times are approximately 70 MS to close and 35 MS to open under specified power base conditions.

What environmental extremes can it tolerate in service?


It operates between -25 to 70 °C, stores between -40 to 85 °C, and is rated for altitudes up to 2000 m.

How does the unit handle electromagnetic disturbances?


It meets immunity and emissions limits including 8 kV ESD, 10 V/m radiated field immunity, and fast transient classes up to 4 kV depending on circuit.
