The Sick DFS60 is an incremental encoder. This incremental encoder is programmable/configurable. It has a 8-pin, radial, M12 male type connector. The product is equipped with reverse polarity protection and short--circuit protection of the outputs. The mean time to dangerous failure (MTTFd) is of 300 years (EN ISO 13849-1). It has an aluminium face mount flange and a solid shaft and an aluminium die cast housing.
