RS PRO Squeezer Multi Purpose Cable Lockout

This cable lockout from our own RS PRO brand has been ergonomically designed to fit around multiple breakers, switches or valves to prevent access during lockout procedures.

• Fits all padlock shackle sizes up to 8mm diameter

• Supplied with 2m cable

• Cable material – soft nylon fibre core yellow PVC 862-5196

• Vinyl coated steel core cable available here 862-5187

• Squeeze together the hasp to create a secure lockout

• Lock out power switches during maintenance

• Compact for easy carrying and storage

What is lockout used for?

Lockout is an important safety procedure that involves shutting off the power to industrial machines or equipment during maintenance or repair. When used properly in conjunction with a well-planned lockout process, the safety padlock helps ensure that employees will not inadvertently activate a piece of equipment while someone else is working on it.
