SICK C4MT Series Light Curtain Safety Light Curtain, 14 mm Resolution

This light curtain is a Compact safety device designed to protect personnel around machinery by creating a monitored optical barrier. It operates on 24V DC and supports optical synchronisation without separate wiring, making it suitable for tight installations where a small protective height and short-range detection are required. The unit is intended for use as standalone or in cascaded configurations and is delivered with mounting brackets, a system plug and test rod.

It uses a 5-pin M12 male connector with a 350mm cable and extension via a female M12 connector.

The device forces at least one OSSD into the OFF state to bring the system to a safe condition.

It operates between -20°C and +55°C with IP65 enclosure rating and non-condensing humidity 15%-95%.

It conforms to SIL3, Category 4 and PL e according to relevant IEC and EN standards.

The housing is aluminium alloy with a 15mm x 32mm cross-section and emits at 850nm wavelength.
