Heat Shrink Tubing


A non-adhesive yet permanent solution to identify and protect wire and cables at the same time. DYMO’s heat shrink 3:1 polyolefin tubes provide clean and permanent marking for a wide range of cable diameters. These sleeves are applied before connection and can be permanently positioned after connection when shrunk with a heat-gun.

What does a heat shrink ratio of 3:1 mean?


A ratio of 3:1 means when the tube is heated it shrinks to one third of its original diameter. The original tubing size is three times larger than its shrunken form.

How can I shrink the tubing?


A heat gun or a heat shrink oven are ideal ways to shrink your tubing. Before heating always check to ensure you know the correct heating temperature of your tubing.

Remember to ensure all health and safety precautions have been taken prior to using a heating devise.
