The StarTech.com DisplayPort KVM Switch facilitates seamless sharing and switching between two USB-A and DisplayPort-enabled computers. Users can connect and manage an 8K 60Hz DisplayPort monitor, a keyboard, mouse, two USB 5Gbps devices, and two additional USB 2.0 devices effortlessly. Supporting resolutions up to 8K 60Hz or 4K 144Hz/120Hz, with MST pass-through for daisy-chaining additional monitors, it's ideal for demanding applications like CAD/CAM and video editing. Customizable switching options include hotkey or push-button switching, with hotkeys enabling independent control of audio and video.

The switch is universally compatible with all major operating systems and hardware platforms, including Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Intel, and AMD. Its durable metal housing prevents Electro-magnetic Interference (EMI), while Overcurrent Protection (OCP) ensures reliable performance by preventing power overdraw issues.
