RS PRO 2P Pole Isolator Switch - 25A Maximum Current, 15kW Power Rating, IP65

You can use this RS PRO changeover switch when you need to change between two power supplies powering a single application. Changeover switches are also called transfer switches, as they're commonly used to transfer electricity from power grids to local generators.
The housing is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) material, which ensures it's resistant to corrosion and impact. The ABS also has flame retardant properties for added safety. The switch can be padlocked, so you can rest assured it's protected against unauthorised use. It's designed to allow you to easily open the housing and quickly disconnect the switch when needed.
The product has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65, so you can be sure it's fully protected from dust and low-pressure jets of water. It's also handled and packed to meet British (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) and American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) electrostatic discharge (ESD) standards to ensure the risk of a discharge is minimised.
