3M IDC Connector, Right-Angled, 1A Current Rating - 79 Series - 7964-6500EC

Need a clean-cut way to attach your flat cables to a board? Reach for this IDC connector from 3M. Rather than slicing your wires to ribbons, it sharply and neatly pierces the outer jacket to reach the contacts, creating a secure connection. The unit handles wire sizes from 28 to 26AWG, so it's widely compatible with commonly used conductors. Without cutting corners, it fits neatly into awkward spaces thanks to its right-angle design.

79 series 2.54 x 2.54mm cable mount IDC sockets that accept both 1.27mm pitch flat cable and 26 and 28 AWG solid and stranded discrete wire.
