RS PRO 14-Way IDC Connector Socket for Cable Mounting, 2-Row
Use this IDC (Insulation-Displacement Connector) from the RS PRO range to terminate flat ribbon cables quickly and efficiently. To save you time and effort, it's designed to cut through a cable's insulation and join the wire to the connector without any soldering. It's also an ideal space-saving solution as it can connect up to 14 different cables at once.
The housing of this IDC socket is made of glass fibre-reinforced PET (polyethylene terephthalate), making it robust yet lightweight for protection that won't add weight to your circuit. It also has an electrical insulator for added safety. You can be sure of a strong and reliable connection thanks to its phosphor bronze contacts and terminations.
The connector socket is part-assembled for ease of use. It has an open design that allows you to add extra appliances to the circuit safely.
