Get attached to a robust fixing solution with this hook and loop tape from 3M. It's a two-part system, with innovative mushroom-shaped stems on one side and adhesive on the other. When pressed together, the stems form a strong interlocked attachment that you can open and close repeatedly. This makes it suitable for dynamic uses such as securing frequently used tools.
• Tested for 1,000 opens and closes before it loses half it's strength, so it's ideal for regular use
• Combined thickness of 5.8mm to minimise gapping
• Low weight of 0.156 g/cm² so it doesn't place a strain on your surface

What is this hook and loop tape made from?
The adhesive part is acrylic, which offers long-term durability. The stems and backing are made from clear polypropylene, so they're resistant to breaking.
Applications
There's no limit to the number of uses for this tape, with the stems, mushroom tops, and film backing made of polypropylene. The fastener is recommended for use at temperatures ranging from 30 °C to 70 °C long term.

How is hook and loop attached to a product?
There are a number of ways to attach hook and loop to a product. Having a fabric backed hook and loop, it can be sewn into textiles and fabrics. It can be glued to a surface using pressure sensitive adhesives or even applied using a heat activated adhesive.
Does water affect the performance of hook and loop tape?
Hook and Loop tape will not degrade in water and water doesn't affect the holding strength of the tape.
