This silicone heater mat from the RS PRO range provides quick, precise and even temperatures for a wide range of surface heating applications.

Flexible and lightweight, silicone heater mats are great for hard-to-reach areas and small gaps underneath equipment. This particular mat is comprised of etched foil elements that heat up rapidly and accurately, enclosed in a thin sheath of silicone for even heat distribution.

The silicone mat has a lower thermal mass than most other conductors, so it's very responsive to temperature control. It can be connected to heat control devices like thermocouples and light switches and used for a variety of temperature regulation purposes.

These silicone heater mats are self-adhesive, so you can install them without any equipment or tape. With a wide heating range, this mat is suitable for anti-condensation heating, GRP pipe repairs and satellite dish snow melting.
