RS PRO Stainless Steel Globe Valve, 1/2 in BSP 32 bar
Regulate the flow rate and start or stop the flow through a pipeline with this RS PRO globe valve. You can reduce the speed and pressure of water or gas flowing through the valve or open it back up to full power by rotating the handwheel.
The valve's body is composed of durable stainless steel. This material won't warp at low or high temperatures, making it ideal for applications involving temperature or pressure extremes. It's also corrosion-resistant, so it's suitable for pipelines conveying a variety of gases and liquids.
As this valve generates a pressure decrease when in use, it's best suited for situations where a constant flow isn't necessary. You'll commonly find it used in cooling water or fluid oil systems, as well as in boiler and main steam vents.
