It's die-cast, so there are no soldered or riveted joints that could be weak points. This ensures the box is strong enough to handle bumps and rough handling. Pre-tapped holes and Philips-head screws give you a secure way to fix the lid using a standard screwdriver. Thanks to the lid's lap-joint design and IP54 rating, your devices are covered against water splashes and dust. The strongly sealed construction boosts EMI and RFI shielding, helping industrial instrumentation to stay reliable.
