If you use a mechanical fan in a cooling or ventilation system, a finger guard is an essential safety addition. Not only does it protect fingers from the rotating blades, but it also prevents any debris from entering the fan and damaging the moving parts. RS PRO plastic finger guards are available in a range of sizes appropriate to your square axial fan, offering you reassurance and safety.

This model is suitable for fans with square frames of 40 mm wide and high. The grill is black, for a smart and discreet finish, and keeps objects away from the fan without affecting the flow of air. Four holes – spaced 32 mm apart at the corners of the guard – make screwing the grill in place a quick and simple operation.

The guard is made from polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), which is resistant to heat and abrasion.
