StarTech.com OM2 Duplex Fibre Optic Cable Low Smoke Zero Halogen, Orange, 1 m

This Fibre optic cable provides duplex multimode connectivity for short-range data networks. It links LC to SC terminations using 50/125 OM2 multimode Fibre, enclosed in an Orange Low-Smoke Zero-Halogen jacket for environments where reduced smoke and toxic emissions are required. The assembly is CE approved and designed for use across standard indoor installations and equipment rooms within the stated operating temperature range.

• 10Gbps maximum data rate for high-throughput transmission
• 50/125 OM2 Fibre enabling 500MHz multimode bandwidth
• LSZH jacket reducing smoke and corrosive gas in fires
• Duplex 2-core design supporting simultaneous bidirectional links
• Operates from -20°C to 60°C for varied ambient conditions

• Suitable for short-range Gigabit Ethernet installations
• Used with broadband distribution systems in buildings
• Ideal for telecommunications and data communication links
• Can be used in central offices and school network rooms

It is terminated with an LC duplex connector at one end and an SC duplex connector at the other end.

Each assembly is individually tested for insertion loss and certified to meet acceptable optical loss limits.

The cable is supplied as a 1 m patch lead in an Orange LSZH jacket, packaged singly with listed product dimensions and shipping weight.

As an optical link, it is inherently immune to electrical interference and suitable where electrical isolation is required.
