RS PRO OM3 Multi Mode Fibre Optic Cable LC to LC 900μm 3 m


This OM3 multi-mode fibre optic cable from the RS PRO range is designed to improve the standard of your network by increasing your bandwidth and signal speed.

This optic cable experiences less interference than metal conducting cables. It has a core fibre size of 50/125 and allows large quantities of data to pass at high speeds using internal light refraction. Both ends are terminated with LC connectors. The cable is 3 metres in length and has a core diameter of 900 μm. It comes in an aqua-coloured sheath that's low-smoke and zero-halogen (LSZH). It meets high safety standards as it's RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) compliant.

Many telecommunications organisations use these cables to support data, video and voice calls. They suit 10, 40 and 100 Gbit ethernet networks.
