Use this modular jack from Molex to make reliable network connections to a PCB (printed circuit board). It's an 8-way female jack that connects to male modular plugs for secure RJ45 (Registered Jack) Ethernet connections and Cat3 LAN (local area network) connections. For fast, long-lasting data transmission, the phosphor bronze contacts are plated in a gold-over-nickel material that's highly conductive and corrosion-resistant. 95501 Cat3 modular jack connectors designed for use with modular plugs according to FFC part 68 and IEC 60603-7. These Cat3 modular jacks have a low profile space saving design of 11.50 mm for tight board stacking and are right angle through hole or SMT mount. The housings of these modular jacks are made from high temperature thermoplastic making them reflow solder capable. Versions of these connectors are available with PCB retention pegs which help position and hold the connector in place. These cat3 modular jack connectors are designed to be used with PCBs with a 1.57mm thickness and are available with a range of circuit sizes
