RS PRO, 305m Cat5e, Grey, S/UTP Shielded, Unterminated PVC Sheath

This 4-pair network patch cable from the RS PRO range is ideal for connecting devices to a local area network (LAN). The Cat5e cable is double shielded to protect the signal from electromagnetic interference, with a screen of aluminised polyester tape (100% coverage) wrapped in a braid screen of 0.1 mm tinned copper (65% minimum coverage).

The 305-metre cable uses stranded bare copper conductors with a cross-sectional area of 0.14 mm² (AWG26). It has an outer diameter of 5.6 mm, is voltage rated at 300 V ac and has an operating temperature range of -15˚C to +70˚C. It's sheathed in grey, flame-retardant PVC.

This cable meets Euroclass Eca standards, meaning it's safe for installation in buildings with basic building fire safety requirements and is RoHS compliant on hazardous substances. It meets ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 so it won't damage equipment through electrostatic discharge.
