RS PRO Heel Grounded Antistatic Heel Grounder


RS PRO’s anti-static heel grounder offers secure protection for workers in industrial or factory settings where there is a danger from electrostatic charges.

A 19 mm blue tab with carbon-suffused fibres comes with the grounders. This conductive thread, which can be conveniently tucked into your socks, maintains contact with the ground and dissipates any static electricity. The grounder incorporates a 1 MΩ resistor and has an elastic strap for flexibility and comfort in use. A snap-lock system makes fastening and removal quick and easy.

A dual-layer cup is made from a conductive layer to draw off static charges, along with a white lining to protect your shoes or boots from carbon marks.

This product is compliant with safety standards including ESD (electrostatic discharge) standard S20.20 and EN 61340-5-1 (European regulations on ESD).
