These Peltor Optime II passive ear defenders from 3M have been developed specially for use in more demanding environments to protect users from hazardous levels of noise.

One of the key features of the Peltor Optime II is its unique sealing rings. Filled with a combination of foam and liquid the sealing rings provide an optimum seal whilst still retaining low contact pressure for a snug and comfortable fit – even when wearing for longer periods. In addition, the sealing rings are covered with a soft and hygienic foam and have built-in ventilation channels which also help to improve comfort.

Are ear muffs as effective as ear plugs?
