RS PRO Polyethylene Edge Protection

Natural coloured Polyethylene (PE) edging protection / grommet strip that provides a smooth edge to panels, plates, chassis, etc. Various sizes are available to be able to accommodate a panel thickness of between 1.0 → 5.5 mm. Supplied in 5 m and 10 m lengths for onsite cutting to length.
There are a range of different sized grommet strips available in the range, so you will be sure to find one to suit your application. They come in either 5m or 10m lengths and can be cut to size. Please refer to the table and diagram below to find your ideal grommet strip.

The RS Pro 406-922 is a clear plastic grommet strip for edging protection. It is made from Polyethylene and is 5m in length. The 406-922 is designed for panels 1.2-1.6mm thick.

RS Pro Grommet strips slot over an edge to either protect the edge or cables that may pass by it. For example, you may wish to place it around the edge to protect it from damage or, when holes are cut into panels, the grommet strip can be used as a buffer on the edges of the hole. This buffer allows cables to pass through the hole without being damaged on the previously sharp edges. Grommet strips are also ideal for simply giving an edge a smooth finish.
RS Pro grommet strips are ideal for electrical installations. They are clear in colour for a discrete appearance.
