2003V Adjustable Door Closer


The adjustable power 2003V provides the flexibility to 'fine tune' the closing power of the door control in order to achieve the low 'opening forces' necessary to satisfy the requirements of Approved Document M of The Building Regulations and the guidance of BS 8300 in relation to the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). It can be adjusted between power sizes 1 to 4, as shown in the 'Dimensions' table below.

Safety valve protected mechanism to prolong the life of the closer

Fabricated cover conceals fixings and adjustment screws to reduce the risk of vandalism

Forged, heat treated and ground steel piston for rugged durability

Steel rack and pinion mechanism is heat treated for strength and durability

Precision needle roller bearings for optimum performance and efficiency

Suitable for left and right handed doors, supplied with universal fixing pack

Fire tested to EN 1634, - 2 hours timber doors, 4 hours metal doors

Maximum width 1100 mm

Suitable for Transom, Regular and Parallel applications
