This adapter is a USB-C multiport docking accessory that consolidates video, data and network connections through a single USB-C or Thunderbolt 3/4 laptop port. It uses DP1.4 Alt Mode with MST to drive up to three external monitors while providing additional USB-A ports, SD and microSD card access, a Gigabit Ethernet Interface and a dedicated USB-C power-delivery pass-through port for host charging. The unit is bus-powered with host adapter support and requires a compatible host port for full functionality.
