For your safety, an IP21-rated casing protects the transformer from touch by fingers and objects larger than 12 mm. Screw terminals let you install it easily and they're fully shrouded for protection against electrical interference. The transformer withstands temperatures up to +130˚C, so you can use it in a range of demanding environments.
