RS PRO 16 VA DIN Rail Mount Transformer, 230 V ac Primary 2 x, 12 V ac Secondary


This RS PRO 16 VA DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung, the German Institute for Standardization) rail-mount transformer is used to supply electricity between control circuits, switch relays or installation contacts by changing the magnetic field. Its practical design means you can mount this transformer to flat surfaces, panels and mounting holes.

This high-efficiency transformer is designed for continuous load applications. It has a power rating of 16 VA and operates at a primary voltage of 230 V. The transformer is safely protected against short-circuiting and overload through its PTC (positive temperature coefficient) resistor. With integrated screw terminals and a DIN rail TS35 mounting design it's easy to secure.

This ST100 Series control transformer is used in both residential and industrial environments and meet DIN safety standards set by the German Institute for Standardisation. It’s also had electrical and flash testing and provides thermal protection at +100°C.
