The Jumo Thermometer has a case made of stainless steel with a diameter of 80 mm. The measuring system used operates on the principle of the bimetallic spiral, which acts directly on the pointer via an axis. The temperature can be read on an aluminium scale with black lettering, protected by a glass pane. The case has IP54 protection and can be used in limit temperatures from -30 to 80 °C, the rated position is arbitrary. The device is fixed by a stainless steel screw connection, which can be moved on the stainless steel protection tube with a diameter of 6 mm as desired and a thread G 1/2 form A according to DIN 3852/2. The protection tube output is axial backwards on the back cover of the case. Since no additional auxiliary power is required, the device is ideally suited for energy saving temperature measurement.
